About La Fauvelle

La Fauvelle is a charming hotel situated in Languedoc-Roussillon – the southernmost part of France bordering the Mediterranean and Spain.

La Fauvelle consists of a number of old buildings, which have been fully renovated and modernised for conference use, and a new hotel building, which was completed in August 2004 and meets all the modern standards of comfort.

Most people who visit La Fauvelle comment on its wonderful atmosphere. It is always difficult to communicate the ambience of a place, but we hope that this website will give you an impression of La Fauvelle, our philosophy and the surrounding area. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions!

The pool

The saltwater pool measures 15 x 5 metres, large enough to make your morning swim a real work-out.

Conference room

La Fauvelle is designed for groups of 12–14 participants. You can have the whole place to yourselves, making La Fauvelle the perfect choice for small, process-oriented seminars and gatherings. La Fauvelle has a total capacity of 32 guests, if all the participants share rooms.

The conference room proper – the “Chapel” – is equipped with tables and chairs versatile enough to suit just about any meeting set-up. The climate, countryside and surroundings are also at your disposal and are an integral part of our conference facilities. The “Chapel” has all the standard conference equipment and has Internet access via our wireless network, which is also available in all the bedrooms.

Lounge

In the 1840’s, Pierre Fauvelle manufactured water pumps at La Fauvelle. The largest production space has been converted to a sitting room with a six-metre high ceiling. You can relax and enjoy art by local artists and artisans.

Autumn and winter evenings can be chilly, even in the South of France. When the weather turns cool you can gather around the large fireplace with a Cognac or Banyuls and coffee.

Dining room

The dining room is a charmingly furnished space from the 1840’s with direct access to the patio. We can serve thirty people or set a cosy table for four.

The region’s fresh ingredients and wines are the basis for a first-class culinary experience.

Rooms

All the rooms are individually decorated. They are elegant yet comfortable offering air conditioning, modern bathrooms, separate wardrobes and desks. There is access to the internet via the wireless LAN.

All rooms have access to the garden or the patio, and some of the rooms have been specially adapted for wheelchairs, with larger bathrooms and wider doors. The main hotel entrance has a wheelchair ramp.
